PlaySafe ID is a privacy-first reusable digital identity designed to bring real accountability to online gaming, and our mission is to ensure that all games are fair, fun, and safe for all gamers.
Our simple solution uses a zero-knowledge age verification and a single persistent identity per user to unlock scalable, cross-title accountability - without storing personal data.
Ultimately, PlaySafe ID is a powerful tool to:
- Keep cheaters out of games until they've served a meaningful penalty, improving games for the majority of players.
- Keep predators out of games to keep children safe from sexual abuse and grooming.
- Help developers meet regulatory requirements like the Online Safety Act and Ofcom's regulatory framework.
What do games have to do?
Integration is simple with:
- A standard user authentication,
- An endpoint for getting the status of a PlaySafe ID,
- An endpoint for submitting offences to us.

The most fair, fun, and safe way to play games.
PlaySafe Protected matchmaking is only available to those with an Active PlaySafe ID. Gamers with an active PlaySafe ID will only play with real people who haven't been caught cheating, botting, or being inappropriate to children in any PlaySafe Protected game or service.
Anyone caught cheating, botting, or being inappropriate to children receives penalties and their status changes from Active to something else. This renders them unable to play in PlaySafe Protected matchmaking until their penalty is served.
